Mr. Boonsong Thapchaiyut, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Labor, chaired the 22nd Wage Committee meeting, which held a meeting to review the minimum wage rate for 2025. The meeting resolved to increase the minimum wage in 2025 to 400 baht in Bangkok. Other provinces will increase the minimum wage to 400 baht in some occupations, namely, hotels nationwide from 2 stars and above, hotels with 50 rooms or more, or with restaurants, and service businesses nationwide, effective from July 1, 2025.
